Charley McDougal studied for 4 years in Cambridge, graduating at Masters level, he always wanted to follow a career path in film and started out as an actor, working all over Europe with some great companies and established actors. In 2012 Charley worked for the first time behind the scenes, helping secure the green light on the TV show ‘Fishing For Survival’ with National Geographic, about the Salmon fishing reserves in the Kola Peninsula.
Dividing his time in various roles in the film industry, Charley started to direct his focus on writing, and has an extensive range of original scripts for film and TV.
Blending his creative eye and his passion for film, Charley brings a hands on approach to Empire Studios both in the development of original content and sourcing great projects from around the world.
